Knee Joints

For the knees, I wanted a joint that was only capable of moving around one axis. The ball joints and the leg joints would definitely provide too much freedom, and I need something controlled that wouldn't be a hassle while animating. Although it feels like more work right now to design multiple joints, I'd rather front load the work and have an easier time animating.

I needed a single axis joint that moved like a human elbow to animate. Or a door hinge. After researching for some time, I had a general idea of what I needed to model. Here is what I came up with:

Similar to the previous models, I modeled the pieces with parameters so I could change things if necessary. Here is what I came up with:

Fingers crossed that this works! I'll set it to print today.
