Up until this point, I have been using 6mm gold plated brass beads that I found on amazon for the ball joints. The gold plating needed to be torched off before I could use them, but they were generally effective. It was useful because the beads came in a pack that included different sizes, so I could test different sizes with my designs. However now that my designs are closer to being finalized, I would like to size up my armature. I ordered 8mm brass balls from an industrial website.

I was happy with the balls, but the only issue is that the holes are smaller than 1/8inch. The size of brass pipe that does fit in the balls is far too tiny and flimsy. I took the balls to the innovation hub on campus for some ideas. With some help, I learned how to drill the holes smaller on the brass balls. Problem solved!
